Departure from Haridwar early in the morning. This will take about 11 hours to reach Joshimath. The journey is not so boring, as you see the sudden change in the scenery every few hours. You will witness the beautiful confluence of the Alaknanda and the Bhagirathi river. As you reach the base camp, you will by the refreshment snacks with tea or coffee. Then you can go to visit the Joshimath market. Overnight dinner and stay in hotel/guesthouse.
